Human beings, as a species, are social creatures. We are hardwired for connection and belonging. That’s good news for business since relationships are the beating heart of any successful business.

And yet how many of us have been in a meeting when someone appears to be transmitting information like a robot? Or watched someone give a presentation who is overcome with nerves? Or been ignored by a colleague who is lost in their busy-ness?

If more of us focused on the person in front of us, it would be so much better for business.
