Apparently, when Sophia Loren walks along a street she always feels that around the corner, there is something wonderful waiting for her. That is her attitude.

For most of us I’d guess that when we are walking along the street, we’re often in our head: running through our mental to do list; ruminating over a problem; or predicting catastrophic future events.

Yet we don’t need to be an iconic movie star to adopt Sophia’s attitude. I’ll hazard a guess that many of us over the Summer, as we left familiar streets and explored the new, unwittingly assumed something wonderful was around each corner.

It’s a great metaphor for life. Do you want to live in fear or in faith?
