Whether we identify as an owl or a lark, we most definitely are not robots.

I was fascinated to read yet another article this week on the optimum amount of sleep.  Scientists seem to be fixated on finding a solution to the inconvenient truth that most humans need 7 or 8 hours sleep to be at our best.  And not just to be our best for executive functioning, but to be in our best health too.

Being human is not a problem to be solved but perhaps a fact to be respected.
