I love Autumn, mainly because I love ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, the BBC celebrity dancing competition that is pure Showbusiness. It occurred to me that ‘Strictly’ has much to teach anyone who is trying to close a deal in business business:

  1. Remember that first and foremost, you are selling yourself. If we don’t like or trust you, you won’t get our vote.
  2. Give it everything you have got: heart, body and soul. Don’t give anyone a dress rehearsal, it’s excruciating.
  3. Prioritise your time if you want to win. If you don’t, your competitors will.
