‘If you are multi-tasking, come back to me.  This is important.’ This was a line intermittently delivered by a trainer whilst I was studying online this week.

I rather loved it. Because she is right. She caught me out a few times. We are all so easily distracted. I arrived at the training. I wanted to be there. And yet I was being pulled in other directions.

Imagine casually reminding people to come back to you the next time you are hosting a zoom meeting or Teams webinar?

Or thanking them for switching their videos on for the meeting with you.

Unfortunately, the common courtesy of treating others with respect seems to vanish when we are online. Perhaps we can all agree to do better.
