A friend of mine and fellow coach asked me: have you heard about NSDR? She earnestly explained that it is a revolutionary protocol to boost brainpower, focus and productivity. I was gripped. I wanted to hear more.
She went on to explain that NSDR is a protocol named by Stanford Neuroscientist Dr Andrew Huberman and it only takes 10 mins.
Wowzers. Bring it on, thought I.
Only NSDR stands for No Sleep Deep Rest.
AKA meditation.
(I started wondering if Dr Huberman’s minor was in marketing.)
Honestly? Whether you call it NSDR or meditation, there’s no getting round stopping everything and sitting with yourself for 10 minutes breathing deeply. As well as enhanced brainpower, sharper focus and higher productivity it will also help you sleep better, boost your mood and increase neuroplasticity.
Having more hours in the day is precisely that easy and that difficult.
