I caught an Instagram reel of Tom Hanks sharing the best advice he’d ever been given. It was:
- Show up on time
- Know the text
- And have an idea
Whilst it was advice given by a Director during a rehearsal, Hanks remarked, it’s advice that can be applied to all of our lives. Loosely translated for us:
- Show up on time, literally
- Know what’s going on
- Contribute
It’s hard to do all three all of the time but when we can pull it off, it’s a showstopper.
