For many of us, life came with a pre-packaged formula. It looked something like this: GCSEs. A-levels. To gap year or not to gap year. University. First job. Climb the ladder.
Sometimes the company we joined even handed us the next formula: a tidy career path, structured progression, maybe a few leadership modules along the way.
And so, we followed. We ticked the boxes. We played the game. Respectable? Absolutely. Predictable? Mostly.
But something’s shifted.
We’re now living in a world where the illusion of certainty has vanished. The “path” ahead is not so predictable, clear and maybe no longer exists, if it ever truly did.
The truth is: uncertainty is a doorway.
It invites us to pause. To question. To get curious. And ultimately, to get creative.
The good news is the formula was never the magic. It is our resourcefulness.
